Dive into the wonders of our Solar System with renowned physicist Brian Cox’s new five-part series, ‘Solar System’. Explore the extraordinary events unfolding on the planets and moons, from the fiery volcanoes of Venus to the stormy atmospheres of distant worlds. Discover how a golden age of exploration is shaping our understanding of our cosmic neighborhood. Whether you’re in the UK, US, or anywhere else, this guide will show you how to watch this must-see series.

Decipher the Secrets of The Volcano Worlds

Opening the series in ‘Solar System’, Professor Brian Cox takes us on a journey to uncover how volcanoes helped to establish life and create the landscape of our solar system. Cox explores how these alien landscapes are created, from the spewing oven of Venus to the icy eruptions of Enceladus.

A golden age of space exploration”We live in an extraordinary time,” Cox tells the audience. “Five of eight planets in our solar system have spacecraft currently quizzing them at close quarters, whilst two others — including this one [planet Earth] — have had visitors.” This new information is coloring a truer picture of what is happening in the dynamic events occurring throughout our universe. Viewers will see the awesome power of these alien eruptions and explore the way of understanding the vast array of planetary activity among our neighbors in our solar system.

Mysteries of the Dark Corners Revealed.

In the second episode of ‘Solar System’, viewers are taken on an exploration mission through the unseen corners of our own planetary neighbourhood–regions where new comets, asteroids and even objects that have been hidden from long range observation may be found.

Instead, he takes readers on a journey to explore the uncharted territory between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter to fully appreciate these mysterious worlds lying there and also from far away past weren’t planets known by space scientists too. Follow as the hidden worlds of the thousands of worlds—earlier in space exploration newer kept secret until they learn about forcetold—the tales will enchant listeners.

In cracking open the physics of these black worlds, Cox reveals what we are only now beginning to understand as scientists unravel the mysteries of our own solar system. Now prepare to be impressed by the wonders that lurk in the dark places of our cosmic backyard.

Living in The Storm Worlds

In the third part of ‘Solar System,’ Brian Cox explores the storm-ravaged worlds of our solar system, where the fiercest weather most foolhardy expter could ever imagine is erupting in skies of some worlds and moons.

Cox leads us on a breath-pumping tour of the weird, weather galaxies that carve out these exotic terrains, from Venus’ roaring jet-streams of supersonic air to the gas giants’ maelstroms that dwarf our own! There is brave footage of some of the celestial storms so gigantic they would put any storm seen on Earth into total darkness, and listeners will be wowed by that.

Exploring everything from the amber stasis of a cloudless sky to the rotting heart of an ancient quadrillion ton comet, Cox demonstrates in this rich and musically resonant tale that we cannot fully understand or appreciate what is happening on our planet until we notice how it has been shaped by other worlds. By delving into the mysteries of these stormy worlds, we gain a deep understanding of some of the intricate procedures that rule over the shaping and reshaping of our planetary companions.
