The coming back of the Roscosmos Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft to Earth is a part of significant spatial movement. NASA astronaut Tracy C. Dyson and two Russian cosmonauts, Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub, are on board making history.

Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub logged a stunning 374 days on the International Space Station, establishing a new record for the longest single mission by humans to that laboratory. It shatters the former record of just under 371 days, held by cosmonauts Sergei Prokopyev and Dmitry Petelin, as well as NASA’s Frank Rubio.

But just as outlandish is Kononenko’s total time in space. When he comes back to Earth, he will have spent 1,111 days in space since his first mission back in 2004 making him one of the most experienced space travelers ever.
