Researchers have developed an innovative spinning technique called AC-electrospinning that can dramatically increase the production of nanofibers – ultra-thin fibers with enormous potential for applications in areas like tissue engineering, filtration, and energy storage. By optimizing the electrode design and electrical parameters, the team was able to significantly boost the productivity of this powerful nanomaterial fabrication method.

These incredibly thin fibers, often just a few hundred nanometers in diameter (about 1,000 times thinner than a human hair), possess unique properties that make them ideal for a wide range of applications.
